House. C15, refronted in C18 and extended in C19, restored in C20. Timber framed
with C20 brick infill below, older brick infill above, colourwashed render to top.
Red and blue brick extension to left with plain tiled roof, Horsham slab roof over
old range. Two storeys. Four hay Hall house, hall of two bays with tension
bracing to first floor centre, end stack to right and two diagonal stacks to left,
at junction with extension. Three fine C17 stacks, outer ones diagonal, centre one
square, on front pitch of roof, left of centre. C20 diamond-pane, leaded casement
fenestration, five windows on first floor, two windows and oriel to ground floor
right of centre. Door to right in pentice roofed brick porch. Door to left of
centre to cross passage at rear of stack. Left hand return front:- gable to left.
Plinth and plat band over ground floor. Two C20, 12-pane sashes in architrave
surrounds on first and ground floors. Further two windows on each floor to right,
moulded eaves cornice above. Rear - double diagonal stacks to right, two gables
to left.
Interior:- Deep brick fireplace, stone floors. Moulded spine beams and chamfered
joists. Spine beams and jowled posts on first floor, windbracing in roof.
