II

House. 1914 by Sir Guy Dawber. Red brick with painted boarding on angle bays,
hipped plain tiled roofs with wooden modillioned eaves cornice. Two storeys and
attics with symmetrical elevation in Neo-Georgian style. One flat roofed dormer
in each end, shallow projecting wings. Segmental pedimented dormer to centre.
Boarded angle bays to ends of wings with 12-pane glazing har sash windows in each
face in architrave surrounds and with keystones over. Three first and two ground
floor windows on centre range, the latter under segmental heads. Central panelled
door with modillioned, pedimented, Doric porch over. Wings set back to ends.
