Cottages. C18. Timber framed of thin scantling with whitewashed brick infill,
whitewashed brick C20 extension to left. Plain tiled roof. One storey and
attic under four hip-roofed, leaded through-eaves dormers. Central stack and
further stack to left end on extension. Three framed bays. Originally two
square-pane windows to ground floor under tile drip course to right and two
windows in extension. Door to right of centre in margin lights and gabled
porch, half-glazed. (Nightingales). Larger porch to left of centre with tile
hung gable, whitewashed walls and glazing above. (Lances' Cottage).
