II

House. C17, extended in C19 and C20. Timber framed, clad below in brick and sand-
stone rubble on plinth, tile hung above with plain tiled roof. At right angles to
road; end chimney plan with oversailing gable to right. Two storeys with corbelled
offset end stack to right, subsidiary stack to left. Three 2-light, diamond-pane
casements to first floor, four windows on ground floor. Glazed door to right of
centre, blocked door to left of centre. Single storey extensions to rear left.
Two storey extension to rear right.
Interior:- much of the frame exposed. Deep brick fireplace, Queen-post truss
exposed on end wall.
