Hall house. Early C16 with C20 extensions now to front. Timber framed with white-
washed brick infilling, whitewashed brick and tile hung extensions and plain tiled
roofs, hipped and with gablets over old range. Now T-shaped plan at right angles
to lane. Two storeys, four framed bays with inserted stack to rear of ridge left
of centre. Jowled posts to ends, arched bracing on first floor. Hipped extension
to centre now forming entrance with one diamond-pane first floor and one ground
floor window. Door to right. Two diamond-pane windows either side of first floor
on old range, on each floor. Single storey brick extension to rear left. Pentice
extension to rear.
