10/251 Eversheds Farm House and
Shed adjoining

House. C17, refaced and extended in C18 and C19. Timber framed, exposed in shed and on
wall to west, clad in red and brown brick on remainder; plain tiled roofs with Horsham
slabs over shed. L-shaped plan with old range to centre, double-pile extension to east
and shed to west, returning on end. New entrance front: 2 storeys on plinth with
moulded wooden modillion cornice and hipped roof. Panelled stack to right end under
cornice top. 5 bays across with central window on first floor blocked. Plat band of
gauged brick across ground floor. Four 18-pane glazing bar sash windows on each floor
under gauged brick heads. Half-glazed door to centre in brick dentilled cornice break
with fanlight over. 2 storey gabled wing projecting to left with plat bank over ground
floor. One sash window on each floor, attic window above. Entrance front:- Hip end to
left, gable end to right. Stack to right. Irregular mixed fenestration, leaded on
gable. Double gabled patterned tiled porch left of centre with pierced and scalloped
bargeboards and pendant spike finials. Door in right gable. Gable end of shed to
right with frame exposed; garage doors on ground floor. Interior:- Egg and dart mould-
ing around fireplace to ground floor room, north east corner.
