Boundary post. Dated 1862 on rear. Cast iron, painted white. Approximately 30cm square in section, and approximately 1½ metres high; moulded base, chamfered shaft, moulded cornice, short upper stage with moulded cap and pyramidal top. The front of the shaft has raised lettering at the top:-
4 & 25 Vict/cap 42
(recte "24 & 25", but the "2" missing), referring to the London Coal and Wine Duties Act of 1861, and a raised shield on the section above; and at the bottom of the rear the maker's mark arranged as an oval:-
