Small stable approx. 10 metres
north-west of barn at Roaring
House Farm

GV II

Stable, now engine house. Probably later C17 or early C18, subsequently
renovated and altered. Timber frame on brick plinth, with weather-board cladding
and red tile roof. Rectangular single-cell plan. Single storey; stable door to the
right; window in right-hand gable wall; left gable wall (now under attached
open-fronted shelter) has arch-bracing from the corner posts to the tie-beam,
and vertical plank walling fixed on the inside of the frame.
