north-east corner of cowshed
on west side of former farmyard
at Maddox Farm

GV II

Store, now cabin and store. Dated 1738 internally. Weatherboarded timber frame,
red pantile roof. Small rectangular 2-cell plan on north-south axis. Single storey
with loft over north end. The south gable wall has a doorway to the right and a
2-light casement in the centre; the north gable wall has a doorway and an
attached shed (which is not of special interest); the west side has a gabled
dormer to the loft, closed by a wooden shutter with strap hinges. Interior: the
north end has angle- and arch-braces, one inscribed "1738".
