Later C19. 3 storeys. 5 bays. Probably originally 2 separate builds. Slate
roof, higher to No 2. Paired bracketed eaves cornice; cemented front; quoins;
moulded cornice at 2nd floor sill level. 2nd floor windows segmental headed
with moulded architraves and vermiculated keystones and lugs; in No 2 taller
and with shouldered architraves. On 1st floor, windows with shouldered architraves
with frieze and moulded cornice over. At right hand end, immediately above
passageway, a much taller window 3 panes wide in moulded architrave with pulvinated
band and segmental pediment on moulded brackets over.

Nos 1 to 9 (consec) (including No 1A), and Nos 1 to 6 Town Hall Buildings (The
Borough), Nos 1 and 77 Castle Street, the listed buildings from Nos 108 to
122 (consec) West Street, all form a group.
