C18. 2 storey and attic and cellars. Brick on chamfered plinth, carried
up to parapet with stone coping. Old tile roof. 2 dormers. 5 windows on
1st floor. 4 windows on ground floor and wide 6-panel central door, arched
fanlight of curved and scroll pattern with small central lamp, in plain reveal.
Doorcase of modified Corinthian pilasters, broken entablature with dentilled
cornice and open dentilled pediment. Narrow architrave to arch with keyblock,
2 stone steps and wrought iron scraper to right hand, Small arched secondary
door in right hand corner. 1 cellar window.

All the listed buildings, with Nos 1 to 9 (consec) Lowndes Buildings,
in Castle Street (West Side) form a group.
