C18. Tall 2-storey building. Brick on projecting plinth. Wall carried up
to parapet, panelled over windows, with stone coping. Old tile roof. 5 windows
on 1st floor. 4 tall windows on ground floor and central 6-panel door with
cast iron wreath knocker, in arched opening with panelled reveal and fanlight
of heavy barred carved and scroll pattern. Doorcase of fluted and half-reeded
Doric pilasters, broken entablature with triglyph frieze, dentil cornice and
dentil open pediment with enriched soffit. The cap moulding of pilasters
carried round reveal and across doorhead, the arch to opening has architrave
and key block springing from this moulding. 5 moulded stone steps, with plain
wrought iron guard rail. 4 wood bollards in front of house.
