C18. 2 storey. Brick on chamfered plinth. Wall carried up to parapet with
brick coping, and vitreous brick panels over windows. 5 windows on 1st floor,
2 windows to right hand on ground floor, all with red rubbed arches, and 6-panel
central door with radiating and wreathed arched fanlight, architrave key block
to arch, in doorcase of fluted and half-reeded Doric pilasters, broken entablature
with triglyph frieze and modillioned cornice, soffit with ribbon pattern enrichment
and modillioned open pediment. Cap mould of pilasters carried round reveals
and over doorhead. Early C19 window, 4 panes wide, to left hand of door in
surround of panelled pilasters and entablature. C19 half-glazed door in left
hand corner with plain arched fanlight, office entry.

All the listed buildings in Castle Street (East Side) form a group.
