A pair of late C18 cottages, 2 stoey and attic, brich on projecting plinth, wooden eaves cornice with brackets in pairs. Old tile mansard roof. Each corrage has 1 2-light casement dormer window, 1 formerly 4-paned sash window on 1st ground floors (glazing has been altered in No 3 and in the ground on floor window of No 4) and 1 door (half glazed in No.3 and modern in No 4) to outside corner in architrave frame with small moulded flat hood; modern hood in No. 4.

The listed buildings in Middle Church Lane form a group in themselves and also with other buildings in and around the Churchyard, namely: those listed under Churchyard, Upper Church Lane (north-west side), Lower Church Lane (Westend), CHurch Passage and Vicarage Lane.
