A pair of late C18 cottages, two storey and attic, brick on projecting plinth, wooden eaves cornice with brackets in pairs. Old tile mansard roof. Each cottage has one two-light casement dormer window, one formerly four-paned sash window on first ground floors (glazing has been altered in No 3 and in the ground on floor window of No 4) and one door (half glazed in No.3 and modern in No 4) to outside corner in architrave frame with small moulded flat hood; modern hood in No. 4.

The listed buildings in Middle Church Lane form a group in themselves and also with other buildings in and around the Churchyard, namely: those listed under Churchyard, Upper Church Lane (north-west side), Lower Church Lane (Westend), CHurch Passage and Vicarage Lane.
