House. Late C17 to right, re-fronted in late C18. Originally red brick front, now
cement rendered with hipped plain tiled roofs obscured by parapets. Galleted sand-
stone and brick on rear wing and to right hand return front. Two storeys on plinth
with rendered end stack to right, and stacks to rear and right. Plat band over
ground floor and panelled parapet over first floor cornice. Five bays on right hand
range, two bays to centre and to left hand extension. 12-pane, glazing bar sash
windows to each floor, with casement doors to centre of ground floor right.
Recessed two bay range to centre with two, 12-pane glazing bar sash windows to first
floor, one dentilled bow window to ground floor. Two 12-pane first floor and one
6-pane ground floor sash windows to left hand range. Flank door of 4-fielded
panels in pilaster strip surround under transome light. Two Acanthus leaf capital
columns support flat hood to front, approached up a flight of four steps. Right
hand return front:- hipped dormers behind parapet. Four bays with mixed fenes-
tration. Two leaded casements and two sash windows. Flat portico to right with
arched openings to ends and Tuscan Doric columns in Antis.
