Quadrant walls with piers and gates. 1910 by Sir Guy Dawber, for Major-General
D A Scott. Bargate rubblestone with brick bands and coping; ashlar; wooden
gates. Quadrant walls approximately 1½ metres high with ridged, pitched
coping. Square-sectioned end piers, those at outer ends with flat ashlar
capstones; those at inner ends with ashlar cornices and swept, scrolled,
corniced bases to ball-on-cushion finials, having pedestrian gate hung from left
pier, carriage gate hung from right pier.
