(south-west side)
Nos 133 and 135

House, now two dwellings. C16 or C17, altered C18, Cl9 and C20. Timber-framed
with painted brick infill; left part (no.133) refronted C18 in galleted rubble-
stone with brick dressings; added bay on right of painted brick in Flemish bond
on rubblestone plinth. Plain tile roof. 2 storeys. 4 bays, the right-hand bay
an addition and set back. No 133 (on left) has brick quoins; mid-C20 part-
glazed door to left, late-C20 small-pane window to right, both under header-
brick flat arches; on 1st floor, a 4-pane window to left, 8-pane casement to
right, both set under eaves. Stack at rear. No 135: on left, square-panelled
timber-framed bay with sole plate and wall posts, mid C20 door on right with
2-light leaded casement above, a window to each floor on left; right bay has a
2-light leaded casement to each floor; large stack to right, and one to rear of
no.133. Rear: one bay of timber framing exposed. Rear wing addition to no.133
and outshut addition to no.135 not of special interest. Interior: no.135 has
timber-framed former end wall and other framing exposed; the right-hand, added,
bay has chamfered spine-beam with long run-out stops. Roof recorded as being
replacement butt purlin roof (DBRG Report.) Domestic Buildings Research
