II

Road bridge. 1874. Red brick in English bond. Two wide segmental arches, the
arches of 4 courses of header bricks, with cut waters to central pier; impost
bands; flanking broad battered buttresses; and square-sectioned end piers.
Stepped, chamfered band below parapet which has: chamfered ashlar coping, rising
at centre and over buttresses and end piers; and, on road side, central ashlar
panels with incised cusped-cornered panels.
