Bridge over River Wey. 1782 by Mr Gwilt, widened 1930 (Godalming Walk, pl).
Red brick with ashlar dressings. Five shallow round arches with shallow,
triangular, ashlar cut-waters; two semi-circular pedestrian retreats on pendant
ashlar bases flanking central, corniced, ashlar plaque (illegible); blind oculi
between outer arches; ashlar band with moulded cornice; parapet with flat ashlar
coping; end pilasters surmounted by C20 iron lamp-standards with decorative
braces, the northern lantern removed. Side walls slope down to end piers.
