Cow-house now office. Probably c.1600 much altered and added to late C20.
Timber frame with C20 brick plinth in English bond and infill in stretcher
bond. Plain tile roof. 1 storey with attic, 6 bays. Timber members of fairly
light scantling. Bays defined by wall posts with long, slightly-curved braces
to wall plate. A 2-light or 3-light C20 leaded casement to each bay. Half-
hipped roof with 2 gabled dormers with 2-light casements. Right return: posts
have short, marked, jowl to tops; three C20 windows; tile-hung gable. C20
additions to rear not of special interest. Interior: large scantling cross-
beams supported on the jowled tops of the wall posts. Arch braces from posts to
cross-beams in the 2 left-hand trusses (rear braces removed).
