1/49 Bridge approx 20 metres to
south of junction with
Frith Hill Road

Road bridge servicing Charterhouse School (q.v.). 1872, as school. For
Charterhouse School. Bargate rubblestone with ashlar dressings. Treble-
chamfered pointed arch flanked by buttresses with offsets and trefoil-finialled
gablets. Hollow-moulded band below embattled parapet having blind embrasures
with blind quatrefoil tracery, and roll-moulded coping. Northern archway
damaged in two places. Soffit of arch has 3 deep chamfered ribs.
