House, now 2 shops with office over. Early-mid Cl9, altered. Red brick in
stretcher bond; plain tile roof, with Welsh slate roof to wing. 2 storeys, 3
bays with wing to rear left of 2 storeys and attic. Two early C20 shop fronts
having canted windows flanking recessed doors, fascia boards and cornice. On
first floor sash with glazing bars flanked by tripartite sashes having central
sashes with glazing bars and outer 4-pane sashes, all in reveals with flat brick
arches and projecting sills. Roof hipped on left with tile-hung gablet. Left
return: taller wing has entrance to office and on first floor a canted, tile-
hung window having 12-pane sash flanked by 4-pane sashes and reeded frieze.
Interior: roof over front range has braced king-post trusses and plank ridge-
piece. Included for group value.
