Chest tomb. c.1826. Ashlar. In Neo-Classical style. Chest is raised on
stepped, battered, plinth and chamfered table with string. It has moulded
base; cornice; and pitched top with pediments to ends, blocking courses at
sides, and anthemion acroteria. Inscriptions carved on end and side panels
commemorate George, son of George and Sarah Marshall, d.1826; George Marshall,
d.1855; and other members of the family.
