The garden wall has projecting rounded coping; it returns to Munstead Orchard (q.v.) to south and the south-east along Heath Lane where it is approx. 3 metres high and ramps down from the Thunder House and up again to terminate in Quadrangle (q.v.,formerly Miss Jekyll's potting sheds, now house); there is a round-arched doorway with studded board door next to the Thunder House and a rear entrance to Munstead Orchard; other inserted entrances and doorway next to Quadrangle. The Thunder House is situated at what was originally the end of Miss Jekyll's garden, and was used by her to observe thunder.
