House. Probably C17, much altered C19 and subsequently. Bargate rubblestone,
painted brick in Flemish bond, and tile hanging. Plain tile roof. 2 storeys
with attic. 1 x 2 bays, gable-end to road, with large external stack on right.
Road front: rubblestone plinth; brick ground floor with 12-pane window; upper
floors tile-hung with decorative bands of pointed tiles and 2-light casement
windows, of 8 panes to 1st floor, 4 panes to attic. Set back on right is huge
chimney, of rubblestone with plastered top and tall, later, brick flue; small
window below tiled offset. Left return: of rubblestone with 2 later windows to
ground floor and one of 4-lights below eaves. Right return: C20 board door on
left with window over; some timber-framing exposed on 1st floor; small addition
on right. Interior not inspected.
