GV II

House. Early C17 with late C18/C19 extensions. Timber framed, clad in red and
brown brick to front, the main posts of the frame exposed to rear - half-hipped
bay with gathered Bargate stone infilling. Plain tiled roofs, half-hipped with
fishscale tile hanging to gable ends on right hand wing. L-shaped plan with
wing projecting to right. Two storeys with end ridge stack to left and central
ridge stack to right hand wing. Plat band over ground floor of right hand wing.
Diamond-pane, wood framed, leaded casement fenestration; one window on each
floor to left and one cambered head 3-light casement window with shutters to
ground floor right. One leaded casement window on each floor of the half-hipped
wing to right. Part glazed door in brick porch under pentice continuation of
main roof in re-entrant angle of two wings. Pentice outshot to right. Further
door, stable style and half glazed, to left on end wing.
