House, extended to ends and rear, and now divided. C17 with C19 remodelling and
C20 restoration. Timber framed to right, exposed on right hand gable end, with
colourwashed brick cladding to front, imitation framing on projecting gable to
front; plain tiled roofs. Two storeys with large square stack to right of centre.
4 leaded casement windows to first floor and one two-light window to first floor
of gable. Two leaded casements to ground floor left, one 3-light to ground floor
right. Two 3-light casements to ground floor of gable bay. Door to left under
cambered relieving arch. (No. 3) Further doors to right of centre (No. 2) under
gabled hood, and right end (No. 1) under flat hood. Parallel range to rear of
coursed Bargate stone with ironstone galleting. C19 polychrome brick extensions
to left end (No. 4) not included.
