3/54 Kennel Farm Cottages

GV II

House, now cottages and part store. C17. Timber framed to part, iron and sandstone
rubble to ground floor with galleting and brick dressings. Diamond pattern and
scalloped tile hanging above under plain tiled, half-hipped roof. Rendered end to
left with frame exposed.
Entrance to rear of street: Two storeys with end stack to right and three, 3-light
leaded casement windows to the first floor. Three casements to ground floor, all
to right of centre. Blocked windows to ground floor left. Planked door to left,
left of centre and cottage door to right. C20 brick extension to right.
Street front: Massive C17 stack, offset, to centre pentice ground floor extension
to right. Metal framed casement fenestration to left, two windows on each floor.
Door to right of centre in pentice roofed trellis porch.
Interior: framed partition walls visible.
