Gateway. c.1760, by Sir William Chambers. Portland stone. Concave side bays with square Doric pilaster piers to ends on plinths. Three vermiculated blocks to each pier; paterae on entablature. Arched niches to each bay with vermiculated rustication. Central arch, under segmental pediment with crowning pineapple finial and panel and cartouche within. Pediment supported on two columns with three vermiculated blocks to each column.
