TQ 03NW ALFOLD C.P. HORSHAM ROAD

5/4 Eastland Cottage

Cottage. C17. Whitewashed brick below, tile hung above in scalloped pattern
with plain tiled roof, hipped to left and with weatherboard gable end to
right. Rectangular plan with old entrance front now to rear. Two storeys
with crowstepped stack to centre of rear. Two first floor casement windows
in old entrance front, one leaded, one between-floors window and one window
on ground floor. Former door to left of centre now blocked. Brick and tile
hung extension to left with further 3-light window on each floor. Doors to
ends. Right hand return front - glazed door under gabled hood on braces with
flanking window. Glazed door to left on left hand return front in end of
pentice outshot.
Interior:- Deep brick fireplace with salt cupboard and wooden lintel.
Chamfered ceiling beams.
