9/20 Rosemary Croft


House. C17, extended to left in C19 and to front and rear in C20. Timber
framed, clad in whitewashed brick below, tile hung above with alternating
tiles of square and curved pattern. Brick extensions to left, tile hung on
face, brown and grey brick extensions to left end, all under plain tiled
roofs, hipped over cross wing to right. Corrugated asbestos across ground
floor pentice. H-shape plan. Two storeys with corbelled multiple stacks to
right of centre at junction with cross wing. One 3-light, diamond-pane, wood-
framed leaded casement window to each floor of right hand cross wing and
one small window to first floor. Two 3-light windows to centre of first
floor, one casement window on each floor of bargeboarded left hand wing. Two
large diamond-pane casement windows to ground floor extension across the
centre. Door to left in cross wing under flat hood. Shaped half-Dutch
gable moulding to end wall on left.
