Possible Hall house. C16 with later C16 extensions to ends. Timber framed,
clad to centre in whitewashed brick, underbuilt to wings with whitewashed brick,
rendered on front, and with exposed frame on first floor in close stud pattern.
Plain tiled roof, hipped with gablets to centre range, Horsham slab roof on left
hand wing. Half-H plan with recessed central range and projecting gable front
wings to ends, that to left projecting furthest. Two storeys to ends, one storey
and attic to centre under gabled, fishscale pattern, tile hung, leaded casement
dormer. Stack to right of centre on middle range. Two framed bays to wing on
left with ogee bracing on first floor. One diamond-pane, 3-light leaded casement
window on each floor of gable end; one window on ground floor of right hand
return front. One leaded casement window to left on centre range. Two bay
cross wing to right with jowled posts and arched bracing on first floor. Queen-
post roof. One 3-light, diamond-pane leaded casement window on each floor, that
to ground floor with tile sill and head. Door to right of centre in centre
range to lobby entry. Rear - Gable projects to left with arched bracing on
first floor and to centre.
Interior:- Substantial quantity of frame exposed with chamfered joists. Brick
fireplace and some rendered infilling to partition walls.
