Former Hall House. Late C15 and early C16 with C17 and C19 extensions. Timber
framed with red brick infilling, red/brown brick cladding to right hand gable
and centre gable. Plain tiled roofs, half-hipped to right with gablet. Double
L-shaped plan. Two storeys with larger projecting cross wing to left end;
smaller gable, flush with main elevation to the right, further gable to right
of centre. Paired offset end stacks to left, multiple inserted stack to right
of centre and front offset stack to right of middle gable with conical top.
Diamond-pane leaded casement fenestration, one window on each floor of left
hand gable, tile pentice over ground floor and one leaded window on each floor
of the remaining gables; ground floor windows under cambered heads. One 3-
light window to first floor between two gables to left, one 2-light window to
first floor right. One 5-light window under moulded lintel to ground floor
left. Plank door to left hand return front of centre gable, C20 porch range
across between two gables with brick plinth walls. Further door in pentice
across right hand return front. Rear - hipped roof and gablet wing at right
angles to centre. Some close stud framing with rendered infill to rear. Jowled
posts to rear frame.
Interior:- Good ceiling frames and partition walls, some panelling surviving.
Deep fireplaces.
