Barn to rear right of Hillhouse Farm House

Barn. C18 with C19 alterations. Timber framed on brick plinth with weatherboard cladding and plain tiled roof. Three framed bays. Central opposed cart-entries; stable door to right (on west front) with former window in-line in rear wall. Framing has close-set studs; wall-posts with braces down to mid-rail and large curved braces up to tie-beams. Restored roof has raking queen posts, clasped through purlins, long struts and braces, and collar at central truss. End bays floored late C19.
