Cannon House

A late C16 house of which the timber framing is visible in the south front
but of which the facade facing the street has hobo much altered. This
is of 3 storeys with a half-hipped gable above. 2 windows The ground
floor is plastered and above, te front is hung with tiles. Sash windows,
the glazing bars missing. 2 bay windows on the ground floor. The VCH
says there is a cellar with stone walls beneath the house and ceiling beams
in the interior of the house.

La Rochelle, Chequer, Cannon House, The Vicarage & Nos 16 to 19 (consec) form
a group.
