One building. C14 timber-framed building, refaced with painted brick on ground
floor and tile-hung above. Tiled roof. Casement windows: Modern shop windows.
Two storeys. Four windows. Crown-post roof, partly C14. John Hammond, the last
Abbot of Battle, lived here for eight years after the Dissolution and died here.
