One range formerly comprising four houses, now five. C17 or earlier timber-framed
building with the timbering and plaster infilling exposed in the west wall but
refaced in the C18 with painted brick on ground floor and tile-hung above with
a slight bellcast between. Gable at west end containing an attic window. Swan
Inn House and The Cygnet have casement windows with small square panes, the others
sash windows with glazing bars intact. Doorways with doors of six fielded panels.
Swan InnHouse, The Cygnet and Lime Cottage have flat hoods over. Yew Tree House
has a pediment and segmental fanlight. The Old Granary formerly has C19 shop window,
which has been replaced by two curved bay windows in Georgian style with glazing
bars. Two storeys. Seven windows and four dormers in all.
