Built about 1730 but parts of the house may be earlier. Much altered
and enlarged. Now half H plan. 2 storey. 5 windows. Partly flints
with red brick dressings and quoins, partly stuccoed, partly weather-boarded.
Tiled roof. 3 gables on the North side, 2 gables on the South side,
to the projecting wings. 2 dormers in between, one with a large curved
pediment over. Modern casement windows. C18 door of 6 fielded panels
on North side. Formerly the Star Inn.
