to west
GV II

House. Late C18 with early C19 additions and later C19 additions and
internal alterations. West front: Cement-rendered front with channelled
rustication on ground floor, broad moulded band over ground floor to
incised rendered first and second floors with rusticated quoins, cill-band
under second floor and with heavy moulded cornice-parapet to slate roofs
with end stack to left. 3 storeys; 4 window front, glazing bar sashes in
moulded surrounds. Entrance in second bay from left with projecting porch
with entablature hood with baseless fluted Doric columns. Ground-floor entab-
lature band continues slightly set back to right and left over arches
recessed below with impost-blocks and square rosettes in spandrels to
right. Arrow-head railings to right and left of porch with mid-set piers
carrying lamp-brackets with scrolled supports in cast-iron. North front:
Late C18 block with rendered ground floor and flint first floor with red
brick lacing courses. South front: Early C19 block ending in west front,
(see above). Grey headers with red stretchers.
