House, now shop. C16, clad in early C19. Timber-framed and stuccoed with
parapet hiding roof. 3 storeys; 2 window front, glazing bar sashes on first
floor, sashes with glazing bars on second floor. Projecting C20 double
shop-front on ground floor with central glazed door. Painted wall-signs on
front, reading 'W.E. BAXTER LTD' over second floor, with 'PRINTERS' between
second floor windows and 'FOUNDED 1802' in centre over first floor. Stone
arched access to basement between Nos 34 and 35 to right. Interior: Part
chalk block basement, probably C19.
