House, now shop pair. C15, later C16 or early C17, clad in C19. Timber-
framed and rendered with plain tiled roof. Brick stack to left behind
ridge and three hipped dormers. Jettied over ground and first floors, the
ground floor jetty under-built. 2 storeys and attics, the area above the
first-floor jetty blind, and shallow canted bays under the first-floor
jetty. Sashes throughout: C20 single shopfront to left with glazed door
to extreme left and C20 double shopfront to right with inset central doorway,
Wide carriage-entrance to extreme right, leading to carriage-yard behind the
White Hart Hotel, (q.v.). Interior: Trussed purlin modified queen-post
roof to C15 rear block with some smoke blackening.
