House, now bank. Early C18, altered in late C18 and early C19. Stuccoed with bracketted cornice and parapet to roof.

Three storeys; regular five window front, glazing bar sashes in slightly segment-headed surrounds with cills and raised keystones. Central Diocletian window on second floor with projecting flagpole. Central entrance with Ionic pilasters and entablature, fanlight and moulded spandrels. Six-panel door.

Interior: banking hall, formerly two rooms. Two C18 fire-surrounds, that to rear early C18 with eared surround with palmette and ribbonwork mouldings. Bolection mould with acanthus decoration and central swag on panel to cornice with egg and dart and ribbonwork decoration. Large overmantel with eared surround with Greek key decoration and ropework inner surround. Lowest border with variant of Vitruvian scroll and palmette decoration. Fire-surround to High Street with panelled pilasters with attenuated drops and single rows Corinthian capitals. Palmettes over in frieze with swags and central urn on panel. Corniced mantel with acanthus and ribbonwork decoration. Various fragments of C18 panelling throughout banking hall. Further part with columnar screen to left, fluted Doric columns and pilasters asymmetrically placed. Wide moulded segmental arch with radiating fanlight and antae to former inner door to left of High Street room. Cornice to further part of banking hall with egg and dart decoration and profiled modillions. Early or mid C18 spiral staircase with early C19 stick balusters and rail. Profiled cheekpieces and dado panelling.

First floor room to front: early C17 panelling, early C18 cornice and early C18 type fireplace, possibly early C20. Stair hall: panelled archway with fluted doubled antae and keyblock. First floor rooms to rear: mid C17 panelling and pair of early C18 eared fire-surrounds with pulvinated friezes and cornice-mantels.
