House. C16, possibly earlier, with early C18 front, heightened in early C19.
Mathematically-tiled with stuccoed band over first floor only and stuccoed
rusticated quoins. Bracketted wooden eaves cornice hiding roof with stack to
right and stack behind ridge to right. 3 storeys; 3 windows on second floor
with regular 5 window front below, the outer pairs of windows more closely
grouped together. Glazing bar sashes in wide stuccoed surrounds. Central
entrance with panelled door and blocked fanlight in surround with Doric
columns and entablature hood. 2 storey C18 yellow brick extension to right
with hipped plain tiled roof and ridge stack. 3 windows on first floor,
with central Palladian window in centre of ground floor with window flanking
to right only. All glazing bar sashes. Wall 5 yards long to right, about
12 feet high. Spearhead railings along entire front except wall with
larger spearhead standards.
