Almshouse row, now house pair. Early C18, rebuilt in 1846, converted to two
houses in late C18. Coursed flint on brick plinth with yellow brick quoins,
window dressings and moulded brick gable parapets on kneelers. Plain tiled
roof with ridge stack. 2 storeys. Gable end to road with single 3-light
deep wooden mullioned window with iron diamond lattice glazing on each floor
with rendered panel between carrying moulded coat-of-arms. Irregular
fenestration to south front with gabled return projection at far end facing
road. C20 wooden casements throughout, except in gable ends. Flat-roofed
C20 porch extensions to left on south front and at far right.
