Pump and wellhead in grounds
of Southover Grange


Pum and wellhead. Dated 1789. Cast-iron frame and handle with inner lead
funnel and hopperhead with spout to left. Placed over wellhead with low
brick walls on moulded plinth and with bolection-mould coping. Hopperhead
of pump with two crude figures flanking and tree in centre and markings:
