The Parish Church

Built of ashlar with ashlar faced tower slated roofs. Chancel, nave with
aisles, north porch and west tower. Nave and aisles C13; tower and stone
spire C15, restored in 1897; chancel and porch 1864. [Good monument to
Sir John Jefferay, died 1577 and similar Jefferay monuments of 1612 and
1620. Grade I for the stone spire, uncommon in Sussex]. Kingpost roof.
Later C18 pulpit box pews.
