T-shaped house, C17 or earlier, now faced with red brick on the ground floor
and tile-hung above, but the east front refronted in the early C19 with grey
headers having red brick window dressings and quoins. Sash windows with
glazing bars intact on this front, other windows casement windows. Doorway
with flat hood over. The chief feature of the house is a group of 6 octagonal
red brick chimney stacks placed at the crossing of the T and set on moulded
bases with projecting caps of 8 concave sections, the stacks consisting of
one central stack with 5 others arranged round it.
