1924-5. . Designed by John D Clarke, a pupil of Sir Herbert Baker. Interesting
small house with design based on mediaeval south eastern Vernacular. Modified
L-shape. 2 storeys rendered. Hipped tiled roof. Front elevation has projecting
gabled extension to left, 1 hipped dormer. Outside brick chimneystack on stone
base, 4 windows with double and triple round headed lights separated by columns in
the shape of turned balusters. Round headed doorcase in porch extension in angle
of L. Garden elevation is regular with 2 hipped dormers, 3 round headed windows to
1st floor, 2 double and central triple. Ground floor has recessed loggia with 3
round-headed arches.
