Barn C16 and C17 of two builds, weatherboarded with timber-frame and clay-tile roof. Seven bays with hipped roof at south, gable at north, single aisled interior. Entrance front has two central cart doors, two loading doors at south end. Deep eaves and steeply pitched roof. Substantial surviving timber framed interior with wall posts, ground cill, two ranks of intermediate rails per bay and two studs per bay, all pegged and scarfed. Aisle at west has arched braces, some missing. Three queen post struts at north, one off centre, king post, and one end gable king post at south, pegged arched braces supporting collar beam through three bays and half gable bay, supporting collars pegged to each rafter. Three north bays have principal rafters and pegged butt purlins, three south end bays and south end gable have curved braces in upper wall bays, and framed open work division to end half bay. Built up on brick and stone basement at west because of fall of land.
